Now that digging has finished for the year, it seems like a good time to look back and say thanks to everyone who supported us in 2008.

First off, thanks to all the volunteers who have come out to trail days and. You lovely bunch of people - give yourselves a pat on the back!

Thanks also to all the nice people at the Bristol Bike Fest who donated over £250.00 over the course of two days. Bike Fest organiser and local bike shop kingpin Paul Newman also gave us a £100.00 donation which let us lay on food and beers for the trail builders at our annual Dig and Pig.

Speaking of the Dig and Pig, it was a long day, but everyone who stuck it out to the end got swag including gloves, jackets and riding tops, courtesy of Kona and top Bristol bike shop Psyclewerx

Legendary LBS Mud Dock paid for some fantastic new publicity leaflets for the group. Thanks to Alphagraphics too, for doing us a good deal on the printing.

The Group's website bills should be substantially less next year, as we now have free hosting from a member of Bristol Mountain Bike Club.

Finally, thanks as ever to Bristol City Council and the Forestry Commission for continuing to support the work we do, and Tarmac for donating most of the stone we use.

If you're wondering what we spent our money on this year, here's a quick summary:

- IMBA affiliation - £25.00

- Web hosting and domain registration - £60.00

- Food for the Dig and Pig - £55.00

- Work gloves for trail days - £20.00 (approx)

- Paint and filler to refurbish our tool store - £40.00

- Two new barrows for Ashton Court - £70.00

Here's hoping for a great year of riding and digging in 2009!
